- Center for Civic Education – The Center for Civic Education is a nonprofit, nonpartisan educational corporation dedicated to promoting an enlightened and responsible citizenry committed to democratic principles and actively engaged in the practice of democracy in the United States and other countries.
- Constitutional Rights Foundation – CRF is a non-profit, non-partisan, community-based organization dedicated to educating America’s young people about the importance of civic participation in a democratic society.
- Hawaiʻi State Chapter of the American Judicature Society – Established in 1998, the Hawaiʻi State Chapter of the American Judicature Society has over a hundred members comprised of judges, lawyers, and other citizens of the State of Hawai`i. The Chapter was formed to strengthen support of the objectives and ideals of AJS National, which is an independent organization. The Chapter’s activities are geared to improving Hawaiʻi justice system through (a) focusing on merit selection, (b) judicial ethics and accountability, and (c) education.
- The King Kamehameha V Judiciary History Center – Founded in 1989 to help the public understand Hawai’i’s unique legal history and the development of Hawai’i’s judicial system. The Center primarily promotes civics and law-related education activities for students, teachers, and the general public.
- National Conference of State Legislatures – NCSL provides research, technical assistance, and opportunities for policymakers to exchange ideas on the most pressing state issues.
- PACE Commission (The Commission to Promote and Advance Civic Education) – The vision of the PACE Commission is to create, implement, and amplify sustainable programs, resources, and practices that improve place-based, constitutionally informed, and culturally sensitive civic education and engagement in Hawaiʻi schools and communities.
